This page explains how warranties work for products bought from Badger & Beaver.

Manufacturer warranties

Most products we sell come with a warranty from the manufacturer. We pass that warranty through to you as stated by the manufacturer. The manufacturer decides what is covered, how long coverage lasts, what is excluded, and how claims are handled. Terms differ widely from one brand and product to another, and some products have no warranty.

Where we have warranty details, we show them on the product page. For the full terms, check the manufacturer's warranty documents that come with the product or on the manufacturer's website.

Our role

We do not add a separate warranty on top of the manufacturer's, and we do not change a manufacturer's terms. We are glad to help you start a claim:

1. Gather your order number, the product name and part number, and a description of the problem. Photos help.
2. Contact us at support@badgerbeaver.com or (937) 706-0957.
3. We will point you to the right next step, which may be contacting the manufacturer, or returning the product through our Returns Policy if you are still within its window.

Warranty versus returns

A warranty covers defects after you have started using a product, for the period the manufacturer sets. A return is a separate matter: its window and conditions vary by product, appear on the product page, and are locked onto your order. See the Returns Policy.

What warranties usually do not cover

Check the manufacturer's terms, but warranties commonly exclude:

• normal wear and tear;
• misuse, accidents, or improper installation;
• unauthorized repair or modification;
• damage from using a product outside its ratings;
• consumables and parts meant to be replaced regularly.

Keep your records

Keep your order confirmation and the manufacturer's paperwork. You may need them for a claim.

Disclaimer

Except for any manufacturer warranty that applies and any rights the law gives you that cannot be waived, products are sold without other express warranties from us. See our Terms of Sale for more detail. Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties, so some limits may not apply to you.
