How it works
We scan live vendor listings
Every product page starts from real, current listings at established US retailers and distributors — the same places contractors already shop. Our index is re-checked on a rolling basis, and every search can trigger a fresh scan.
We take the lowest verified price
We compare the verified vendors carrying that exact part number and take the lowest real price we can confirm — not a list price, not a stale cache, the actual price a customer could pay today.
We set our price 2% below it
Our listed price is simply that lowest verified price minus 2%. No inflated "was" prices, no coupon games. If we can't verify a price we can stand behind, we don't list one.
Found it cheaper somewhere else?
Every product page has a price-match button. Paste the competitor's product-page link and we check it ourselves, server-side:
- It's a real retailer's product page — not a marketplace, not us.
- The page shows the identical item — our part number or UPC appears on it.
- It shows a readable USD price and looks in stock.
- The verified price is actually lower than ours.
If it checks out, you get a single-use claim code good for 48 hours, and checkout honors our price at 2% below the price you found. If it doesn't check out, we tell you exactly why in plain language.
What doesn't count
To keep the promise honest, a few things are excluded from both our scans and price-match claims:
- Marketplace sellers (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist) — prices there change by the hour and fulfillment is unreliable.
- Third-party sellers on Amazon or Walmart — only listings sold directly by Amazon or Walmart count.
- Used, refurbished, or open-box listings — we only compare new-condition goods.
- Prices that require a membership, rebate, or coupon to achieve.
- Our own store — you can't claim against a price we already set.
Why we can do this
We don't carry inventory the old way. Every order is fulfilled buy-after-order from the lowest verified source we found — so our cost tracks the same market our price does. The 2% is our whole pitch: the customer always pays less than the best price they could find themselves, and we earn the order by doing the hunting.
