Soft closed-cell EPDM foam strip with acrylic adhesive backing. EPDM is the most weather-resistant foam, with a wide range of chemical compatibility, steam resistance and a broad temperature range (-90 to 275 deg F material; adhesive -30 to 230 deg F). Extra soft firmness (0-4 psi), compression deflection 4 psi at 25%, density 12 lb/cu ft, tensile strength 60 psi, smooth texture, black. Meets ASTM D1056 2A1 and FMVSS-302. Applications include anti-rattle and anti-skid uses, seals, flotation devices and insulation. Dimensions: 1/2 in thick x 1 in wide x 10 ft long.
