Norcon TTU-1D-X-L-2UP is a thru-glass two-way electronic communicator (Talk Thru unit) for hands-free voice communication across fixed glass panels at security counters, cashier windows and transaction areas. This DC-powered version suits glass up to 2-1/2 in thick and has an 18 in gooseneck electret microphone, a machined-aluminum body with satin anodized finish, audio distortion under 2%, and a listen mode with 20 dB compression. An internal rechargeable battery provides 10-12 hours of use per charge (about 6 hours to recharge) when external power is unavailable.
