Honeywell Solstice 454B (R-454B) is a next-generation, low-GWP hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerant blend engineered as an optimized replacement for R-410A. It delivers comparable cooling capacity with improved energy efficiency at 78% lower global warming potential, and is used in direct-expansion chillers, high-pressure heat pumps, and residential and light commercial air conditioning. The refrigerant is sold as 100% virgin factory-sealed product meeting ARI-700 purity standards in a 20 lb disposable cylinder.
