Proto J190 safety wire twister pliers, 8-3/8 in overall length, for safety wire sizes 0.020 to 0.041 in. Right-hand (clockwise) twist with automatic spring-return knob, diagonal nose for tight areas, flat-top diamond-serrated jaws that hold wire securely and resist nicking, and heat-treated cutting edges for tough stainless safety wire. Steel with black oxide finish; meets ASME B107.18. Used wherever vibration may cause fasteners to back out, including aviation maintenance.
