The Trane HTR15188 is an official OEM belt-type crankcase heater rated 160 W at 460 V, sized for compressor crankcases 12 to 13 inches in diameter with a 22-inch lead. It keeps compressor oil warm during off cycles to prevent refrigerant migration and oil foaming at startup. It replaces Trane HTR06627, 918-0056-08 and HTR12525.
