The HBL5969VY is a 2-pole 3-wire NEMA 5-15R Valise connector body with nylon housing and Noryl cord clamp. Powerful cord grips prevent conductor slippage and strain on wiring terminals, and the unique patented clamp-type terminals provide a superior electrical connection by bundling the conductor strands when clamps are tightened. It features a 0.040 in. phosphor bronze power contact, #8-32 steel terminal screw, and a #8-32 steel (green finish) ground screw, withstands 2000V minimum dielectric voltage, accommodates #18 to #12 AWG copper stranded conductors, and carries an IP20 protection rating. Straight Blade Valise series, industrial/commercial grade, straight, yellow.
