Heat-shrinkable flat braided polyester tie cord (lacing tape) of high-tenacity continuous filament polyester (Dacron). Secures end turns of stators in electric motor and generator manufacturing and general wire harnessing; shrinks 10-11% at 325 deg F per hour during the varnish baking cycle to lock windings permanently in place and eliminate operational vibration. Class F insulation (155 deg C). Natural color; 0.225 in wide x 0.015 in thick; 190 lb break strength; 250-yard roll. UL recognized tie cord.
