Recoil 74042 heavy-duty key locking insert (Keysert) is a solid, one-piece key-locking insert used to repair damaged threads or for use in original equipment. It has a 1/4-28 internal thread and 7/16-14 external thread, made of C1215 steel with 302 stainless steel keys and a zinc phosphate finish. The locking keys provide a positive mechanical lock that prevents rotation due to vibration or torsion.
