The TE Connectivity AMP 328998 is a PIDG pre-insulated ring tongue terminal for 16-14 AWG wire and a 5/16 in (M8) stud. PIDG terminals consist of a tin-plated copper body with a copper sleeve and a blue nylon insulation sleeve color-coded by wire range, designed for uniform crimp reliability in difficult circuit environments. It has a serrated crimp termination and meets or exceeds MIL-T-7928 Type II, Class 1 and 2 requirements.
