Sling Saver shackles from Crosby have a more squared bow shape designed for use with web slings and round slings connecting to pad eyes, lifting lugs, and eye bolts. The wide surface offers a larger load distribution area, increasing the efficiency of the sling by at least 15% over standard chain and anchor bows and eye hooks, and allows 100% of the sling's working load limit to be achieved. The alloy construction offers superior strength, as well as a non-slip surface that eliminates bunching and sliding. Each shackle has a product identification code (PIC) for material traceability along with the working load limit and the name Crosby forged into it.
