The Neutrik NC5MXX is a 5-pole male XLR cable connector from the XX series with a nickel-plated zinc diecast shell and silver-plated brass solder contacts. It features an improved chuck-type strain relief, a polyurethane boot gland for cable-bending protection, and a latch-lock mechanism, rated at 7.5 A per contact and under 50 V for cables of 3.5 to 8.0 mm outside diameter.
