Dayton 5VX780 is a cogged, raw-edge wedge V-belt in the Power Ace Cog series, with a 78 in outside length, 5/8 in top width and 17/32 in thickness. It is built with a gum rubber body, polyester reinforcing cords and a rubber belt coating for general industrial power transmission. Cogged V-belts run cooler than standard belts because the cogs allow the belt to bend and flex against the pulley, dissipating heat.
