The Burndy U997 is a 12-ton stainless steel radial non-butting twin U die used to install Burndy HYGROUND compression grounding connectors. It is color-keyed ORANGE and die indexed 997, with a circumferential crimp and copper lug capacity of 6 AWG to 250 kcmil. The U die is compatible with the Y35, Y39, Y750 series, PAT750-18V series, Y46 and PAT46-18V crimping tools. Made in the USA.
