Belden 8899 002500 is a test prod / hook-up wire with a tinned copper conductor (18 AWG, 65/36 stranding) and rubber insulation, in red, supplied as a 500 ft coil. The chlorosulfonated polyethylene (Hypalon) rubber insulation offers excellent heat resistance, color stability and electrical properties, with a suggested working voltage of 5000 V and breakdown voltage of 20,000 V; recommended for motor leads in Class 130(B) insulation systems.
