3M Weld-Thru Coating II is a zinc-based aerosol coating applied to bare metal panels before welding to prevent corrosion between welded surfaces. The zinc base draws away contact corrosion, it dries in as little as 5 minutes before MIG welding, is formulated for minimum weld spatter, and accepts 3M Cavity Wax Plus and other coatings on non-weld surfaces.
